Rare varieties

Rare wine varieties, or a selection of interesting bottles that you definitely have to try. What do Neuburg, Sylvan Green, Blue Portugal and Johanniter have in common? All four varieties are often forgotten about and so are perhaps a little overshadowed by their more famous brothers and sisters - but we thought this was a great shame, as some of them are also grown very marginally and so are outside the main interest of both winemakers and consumers. Recently, however, we've noticed a growing trend towards finding new flavours - and those are exactly what you'll find a few lines down.
